"The thinking mind is a useful and powerful tool, but it is also limiting when it takes over your life completely, when you don't realise that it is only a small aspect of the consciousness that you are."
Eckhart Tolle

Welcome to beyondthinking, created by Ian Haugh.
Our lives can sometimes seem like a series of challenges, these can be in the form of problems or something we want to achieve, the form of our challenges is as varied as our imagination can create though the most common are probably: problem relationships, at home or at work, blocks to success and happiness, negative feelings (such as anger, frustration, deadness - going through the motions of life) problem people in our world, feeling stuck or trapped - these are just a few.
On one level, all of these are forms of a lack of personal power, the power to change things (people, situations, ourselves).
After a mainstream business career, I have spent the last 20 years developing my understanding of how people and the world in general actually work and, as a result of that, I am able to guide you through your challenges at the level of cause (the real content) rather than effect (the form presented). This involves both Emotional and Spiritual intelligence, or put another way, understanding people and understanding the world we live in, this understanding brings wisdom, not just mine but, most importantly, yours.
Wisdom doesn't come from our thinking mind, hence beyondthinking, it comes from our intuition or inspiration or whatever you call that part of your mind that is the source of your great ideas. To develop our ability to access our own wisdom we have to learn about ourselves from our experience of the world we live in and to change ourselves, so to change that experience.
Nothing is accidental, nothing is meaningless.

"One often hears sports people described has being "naturally gifted", Ian is the equivalent in the coaching world. His insight into human behaviour and relationships combined with his ability to help others to see challenges as opportunities or gifts is peerless. He has enabled me to step out of old patterns of behaviour both personally and professionally so that now I am firmly in the present, looking forwards to even greater success."
