Seminars
Group work is an extremely powerful and effective environment for our personal growth, working with a group of like-minded, if diverse, individuals creates fantastic opportunities to understand ourselves and other perpectives on the world around us.
There is a magic to group work, I have attended seminars all over the world and I can honestly say that my experience has always been that of deepening my understanding that we really are all in the same boat. The commonality of personal experience from Tokyo to Taipei from Toronto to Toulouse is quite awesome.
On top of which it is not uncommon for (say) someone attending a seminar with a specific relationship goal in mind, to find someone at the seminar who unquestionably represents the other person in that relationship. This often offers specific advances in understanding and, trust me, when we give understanding to others we can move through our challenges easily and gracefully.
It only takes one person in a relationship to move that relationship forward, whatever it may feel or look like - it is a common experience to hear participants talking about how someone in their lives changed when they did.
But is really isn't just about repair, it is also about finding our purpose, our creative gifts, meaning and fufilment. We all have challenges in our lives, happiness comes from using these challenges to learn about what stops us from being happy. No one ever got a true sense of happiness from simply seeing the next bad thing as confirmation that life is simply a series of bad things over which we have no influence.
I facilitate (often with another qualified facilitator) about one seminar each month, primarily but not exclusively in the west of England. To find out more about the events I currently have planned select the link below:
All my public seminars count towards The Psychology of Vision 100-Day programme, to find out more about this programme, follow the link below:
